Purplefarm Genetics is one of Canada’s premier craft cannabis producers. Coming from the legacy market, Purplefarm Genetics currently operates a 12,000 sq ft facility out of Johnstown, Ontario and operates a 90,000 sq ft facility out of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Purplefarm Genetics is one of Canada’s premier craft cannabis producers, and we are looking for a Facilities Manager where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities’ operational excellence. Your expertise will contribute significantly to creating a safe and productive work environment.This role requires a proactive approach to managing projects, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years experience in industrial/commercial maintenance
  • 5+ years experience in managing/supervising a team
  • HVAC experience is a requirement.
  • Red Seal Electrician considered an asset
  • Millwright considered an asset
  • Proficient with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is considered an asset
  • 4th class power engineer designation would be considered a very strong asset
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and/or cannabis industries is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast paced, quickly changing, team environment
Responsibilities

· Work with technicians to troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs and care to the facility, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and grounds care.
· Responsible for emergency repairs.
· Coordinating contractors for services such as installs, inspections, or repairs.
· Comply with Worksafe NB regulations.
· Comply with health, safety and environmental laws and regulations.
· Responsible for all documentation of maintenance and installs, both scheduled and emergency related.
· Other duties as required.
