Description Self Help Inc. is currently looking for a reliable, skilled Facilities Manager to join our team. Agency Profile Self Help, Inc. is a nonprofit Community Action Agency (CAA) created to help families and individuals stabilize and secure their lives through education, strategic assistance, and building opportunities in their communities. We provide a range of services for families and households across Southeastern Massachusetts. Job Summary Self Help, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Manager to ensure the functionality and safety of our various facilities and equipment in the Brockton area. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks to maintain a comfortable and operational environment for our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: Plumbing repairs Electrical repairs Carpentry work Painting and touch-ups HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs Snow plowing experience required Must be able to operate a Bobcat Lawn mowing Other Requirements Must pass a criminal background check and other required clearances Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required Schedule: Varied hours and days.
