Description

As the Facilities Manager at Storage Giant, you will be responsible for managing external contractors and coordinating maintenance for our company’s buildings across the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
  • Performing occasional general maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs
  • Working alongside the Health and Safety Manager to ensure works are done in a risk-assessed environment
  • Ensuring all facility systems are in working order, including lighting, fire alarms, and smoke alarms
  • Occasional travel to multiple stores across South Wales, South West, & the Midlands

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a facilities Manager
  • Familiarity with maintenance and repair of facility systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • Experience working with and organising external contractors
  • Hold a full driving license and have access to own vehicle (preferred)
