REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or process engineering in the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly organized and technically skilled Manufacturing Engineering Planner to support our automotive production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing engineering process plans, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations and central engineering. You’ll play a key role in launching new projects in our site, improving manufacturing efficiency, and leadership and production initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • This is a key role in our team that will interface with the Facilities Area Manger, Controls Manager and ME Launch Manager on development of new automation solutions and training documentation
  • Work with our staff to define training plan for engineering and trades, create program tracking information.
  • Work with leadership in each department to coordinate leadership plan reviews
  • Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing plans that align with production goals and business objectives.
  • Utilize advanced engineering methods to evaluate data for continuous improvement and presentation material.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to ensure safety initiatives, safety communication and Global Call to Action items are completed.
  • Analyze production performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Lead communication strategy for technology development areas within our site
