CTRMG is seeking an experienced Move Support Specialist to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives for the Federal Trade Commissioner. The Move Support Specialist shall provide all necessary support for move management services for all FTC personnel and complete all internal moves weekly between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Primary Duties: Include, but are not limited to: Office setup and breakdown Event and meeting setup and breakdown Delivering furniture Changing room tags, including printing, and replacing office tags, as necessary Maintaining moving crate inventory Track Work Orders Utilizing FTC’s move management software system to receive, track, and implement work requests daily. The move management specialist will be responsible for maintaining appropriate egress throughout the spaces and to shelve items and or work with stakeholders using the spaces. This includes visually displaying or otherwise directing where certain items should be placed or stored with the purpose of maintaining organized, neat, and highly accessible storage rooms. Additionally, the specialist shall operate government-provided support equipment to manage storage rooms and to facilitate office moves; and ad hoc movement of items and special project requests including: cargo vans, forklifts, and pallet jacks. The contractor shall support the physical set-up and breakdown of equipment and furniture in FTC spaces for planned events and meetings. Meetings typically occur in both the FTC Headquarters and FTC-Constitution Center Buildings during normal business hours. The FTC has approximately 50 event setups per month, mostly small meetings requiring some furniture setup and breakdown, with approximately four larger scale events requiring more extensive setup and breakdown operations. The FTC will provide all supplies, materials, and equipment for FTC meetings and events. The contractor is responsible for the relocation of supplies, materials, equipment, and setup.
