Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing facility systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, building and grounds maintenance, utilities, and communications infrastructure, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of facilities operations management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
  • Experience managing utilities and communications infrastructure
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and maintenance programs
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and exterior systems
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of facility equipment
  • Manage utilities and communications infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operation and cost efficiency
  • Develop, implement, and track space management plans to maximize operational efficiency and support production needs
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, safety, and engineering teams to align facility operations with production requirements
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements for facility-related work
  • Monitor facility budgets, control operating costs, and plan for capital improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes and regulations
  • Lead facility-related emergency response planning and business continuity initiatives
  • Manage and develop facilities maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
