What you'll do Oversee building systems, maintenance and cleaning across Mindspace Berlin sites - keeping everything running to the standard our members expect Build and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, including but not limited to equipment and facilities Scheduling work to minimise disruption Negotiate with and manage facilities providers, contractors and landlords - holding them accountable on quality, timeline and cost Ensure full compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards and lease obligations Lead construction projects and new site openings across Germany Continuously identify inefficiencies and drive improvements - if a process can work better, you'll make it happen Manage security systems, access control, CCTV and related infrastructure across all sites Be the first point of contact for facility emergencies - decisive, calm and solution-focused Work closely with the Community and Sales teams so the operational backbone supports a seamless member experience Requirements What we need from you 5+ years of experience in Operations Background in Facility Management Fluent in German and English, written and spoken Proven experience managing external vendors, contractors and service providers A practical, resourceful problem-solver who moves forward without waiting for perfect conditions Comfortable working independently and staying effective when priorities shift fast Knowledge of security systems, IT and AV equipment Having a hospitality background is a strong advantage Proactive, independent and a team player At Mindspace, we understand that work is more than just a job.
