About the Role We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to support large-scale operations across the energy, resources, and remote sectors. You will lead regional maintenance teams and site-based personnel to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of facilities management services. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, overseeing maintenance programs, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering strong financial and commercial outcomes across a diverse portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead and support regional maintenance and facilities teams across multiple locations Act as the primary escalation point for facilities and maintenance-related matters Ensure planned and preventative maintenance activities are completed in line with CMMS schedules Drive safety performance and promote a Zero Harm culture Manage contractors and facilities service delivery across multiple sites Provide Facilities Management expertise and operational support for project delivery Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, service levels, and financial performance Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency About You You are an experienced facilities or maintenance leader with a proven ability to manage teams, contractors, and operational performance in complex environments. You bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive service excellence while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years experience within a Facilities Management, Maintenance Management, or a similar operational leadership role Proven experience leading teams, contractors, and service delivery outcomes Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Experience within the Energy, Resources, Mining, or Oil & Gas sectors is highly regarded Qualifications in Engineering, Facilities Management, Asset Management, Maintenance Management, or a related discipline are desirable Experience using CMMS and asset management systems will be advantageous Why Join Sodexo? Additional Information Job Scope To deploy, adapt and continuously improve FM services and service elements to meet client requirements within defined parameters. Support maintenance staff across Santos sites by supporting upskilling initiatives and proven capability and effectiveness proven. Identify FM best practices and innovations that can be shared and scaled in a consistent manner across the business. Structure and lead maintenance to achieve financial targets and budgets. Support the delivery of cost saving whilst ensuring adherence to HSE standards. To ensure that the Sodexo FM team onsite are trained and have site awareness on all aspects of Facility Management. Responsibilities Manage all account FM related matters. You will be responsible for reviewing, resolving, or escalating further any issues presented by the maintenance Regional Managers. To provide support for site maintenance managers on additional tasks such as but restricted to: Projects/ Regional requests/ Staff Co-ordination/Quality Compliance Contractor management and coordination of the FM services delivery Work with Service Partners to ensure that all CMMS records relating to delivery of Facilities Services are implemented, including management of annual maintenance plans to support services and compliance. Ordering of free issue items within scope of works through Sodexo’s Opti-web portal. Ensure optimum utilization of own skills prior to engaging subcontractors for general handyman tasks. Facilitate the implementation and execution of FM frameworks to meet client and Sodexo facility Management policies. Single Point of Contact on all relevant Permits & SWMS, train maintenance supervisors in permit process and completion following the safety standards To ensure proactive and timely communications regarding FM services to all internal stakeholders Budget management and reporting OHS responsibility with a focus on Zero Harm across all service lines. Forecast and track key account metrics and service level agreements (KPI’s) Responsible for implementing the escalation point of contact for facilities related issues relating to projects. Management of all facilities related documentation requested for projects including and not limited to Quality Agreements, procedural documentation, inclusive of ongoing reviews and updates. Job Family: Operational Support Compensation: AUD 175000 - AUD 180000 - monthly
