Hovde Properties is hiring a Facilities Operations Manager to lead maintenance and operations for an apartment building complex in Racine, WI. This is a full-time opportunity offering $38/hr.
We’re looking for someone hands-on and experienced — comfortable managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, while overseeing vendor relationships and leading building improvement efforts.

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across a large commercial portfolio
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems
• Supervise vendor work, review contracts, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards
• Perform routine building inspections and coordinate repairs
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and occupant concerns
• Consult on capital projects, tenant buildouts, and new construction (including MEP systems, security, lighting, and BAS upgrades)
• Maintain building efficiency reports and help drive energy management initiatives
• Utilize CMMS and EMS/BMS systems to track work orders and performance
• Participate in budget planning and cost control for facilities operations
