This role will be located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility. Beehive Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Facility Operations Technician at our Knoxville, TN facility. Working closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams, the Facility Operations Technician is responsible for the maintenance of facility, equipment and support equipment. The right candidate must have a strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities: Perform general industrial maintenance including fabrication, installation and inspections of equipment and devices. May include service or repair work on plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical systems, pneumatic tube, lighting, flooring, window coverings, walls and other systems. Perform periodic inspections of buildings and equipment. Make recommendations on needed repairs, installation, etc. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance on building envelope and equipment including chillers, compressors, generators, Additive, CNC and other support equipment. Manage facility ticketing and asset tracking systems to prioritize requests and workload. Manage and support the set up and breakdown of furniture and props for various events throughout the building Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications: Dynamic and active communicator – able to personally lead selected projects and communicate with external firms and consultants. Hands-on experience with building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and compressed gas. Experience with facilities management, operations, design, renovations, repairs and/or construction management. Strong collaboration skills – demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment. Competent computer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance Nice to have: Lean / Six Sigma or other process management training Additive Manufacturing machining experience a plus Automotive or aircraft technician background a plus You’re punctual, dependable and a self-starter.
