Facilities Operations Technician, Mobile Location: Various Sites Across the Lower Mainland Full-Time | $24–$28 per hour Role Summary Marcon’s Income Producing Properties team is seeking a dependable and experienced Facilities Operations Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and operational performance of our residential and mixed-use properties across the Lower Mainland. This role plays a key part in ensuring our buildings remain safe, functional, and well maintained, contributing directly to the quality of life for our residents and tenants. The Opportunity In this role, you will: * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance across interior and exterior building areas * Complete minor repairs including plumbing, drywall, painting, lighting, carpentry, hardware, and general building upkeep * Review and prioritize maintenance work orders, ensuring timely completion and clear communication * Coordinate access for vendors and contractors and support deficiency walkthroughs as required * Maintain landscaping, seasonal maintenance (including snow removal and salting), and exterior cleanliness * Respond to urgent or after-hours issues as part of an on-call rotation * Maintain accurate inspection logs and report urgent concerns to the Property Manager You will work independently across multiple sites while collaborating closely with Property Management and Facilities teams to maintain high building standards. What You Bring * 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a similar role * Practical experience with minor plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a varied workload * Ability to lift up to 20kg and handle ladders safely * Valid BC driver’s license * Experience with Yardi Maintenance IQ or similar systems is an asset * Red Seal certification considered an asset You are reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in maintaining high-quality environments.
