Culford are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the school’s facilities are clean, safe, and fully operational by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and minor installations. This role supports a variety of tasks across general building maintenance, ensuring a functional environment for students, staff, and visitors.
This key role requires an organised and proactive approach and you will be able to work on your own initiative and demonstrate excellent time management whilst being able to work to tight deadlines and thrive under pressure. You will also be required to work as part of the facilities team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • The ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Confident decision making within the scope set
  • Time management skills
  • IT skills, the ability to use a tablet PC
  • A practical, flexible and innovative approach to work
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour and lift heavy materials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

  • Awareness of the role of Data Protection in the workplace (training given)
  • Experience of working in an industry that is inspected by a regulatory body or in a company with quality assurance systems.
  • Experience of working paperless.
  • Basic knowledge of all maintenance tasks
