JOB DESCRIPTION

The Facilities Porter is responsible for the general upkeep of all common spaces and the kitchen area, while also providing coverage of the reception desk and mailroom as needed; providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and success.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate:

  • has the ability to work well with the public
  • is able to perform under pressure and time constraints
  • must be able to spend a significant amount of time on their feet
  • is comfortable and knowledgable in using cleaning products safely
  • constantly provides exceptional customer service
Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Common Spaces and Kitchen Area cleaning and santization (vaccuum/wipe down), including food items are fully stocked, rotated and/or disposed of as neccessary.
  • Reception Support and coverage during employee breaks, days off, and/or vacation periods.
  • Mailroom Operations, including but not limited to, coordination and delivery of interoffice mail and courier packages.
  • Facilities Support Duties such as deliver of supplies and cleanliness for individual offices and boardrooms.
  • General Observations & Maintenance reporting and addressing as required.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
