Description Program/Department: Gateway Fellowship Facilities Job Title: Gateway Facilities Janitor Reports To: Gateway Janitorial Lead Job Overview: As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission: living the Jesus-centered mission. Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness, demonstrating a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and active involvement in a local body of Christian believers. Job Status: Part-time, 15-20 hrs/wkly Salary Range: $16.67/hourly Benefits: Sick Leave Responsibilities and Duties Complete appropriate Help Desk tickets Floors: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sometimes waxing or buffing. Restrooms: Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and counters, and restocking supplies like soap and paper towels. Surfaces: Dusting furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces, and wiping down high-touch areas like door handles and counters. Waste management: Emptying trash and recycling bins and taking them to the designated disposal areas. Windows and glass: Washing windows, mirrors, and glass doors. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Basic work-safety awareness; proper use of cleaning chemicals and understanding of occupational hazards. The ability to manage time efficiently, work independently, and follow schedules Prior experience in cleaning is preferred. Requirements Education Level: High school diploma or GED. Personal Characteristics: Highly personable with a professional demeanor, a passion to serve others and great attention to detail. Works well with deadlines. Physical Abilities: Sufficient mobility to work in all types of outdoor conditions. Able to lift 25-50 pounds and operate equipment associated within the department.

Responsibilities

The Facilities PT Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the church facilities, including floors, restrooms, surfaces, and waste management. This role requires completing Help Desk tickets and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all visitors.
