Description

DESCRIPTION

As a Facilities Supervisor at Impulse, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our buildings and production areas. This role ensures that all facilities systems — from HVAC in our cleanrooms to equipment in our high-bay — are functional, compliant, and optimized for productivity. You will coordinate repairs, supervise vendors to support engineering, manufacturing, and physical operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 5+ years of facilities operations or maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting


    • Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelors’ degree in industrial engineering or related field
    • 4+ years’ of demonstrated experience in high-tech, aerospace, manufacturing, or lab environments strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, ESD control, and industrial safety practices a plus

    Responsibilities
    • Lead day-to-day facilities operations, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
    • Manage and prioritize work orders in coordination with internal teams
    • Oversee safety compliance for cleanrooms, and production spaces in line with OSHA, EPA, and space industry standards
    • Support buildouts, expansions, and modifications to accommodate new projects or mission needs
    • Maintain facilities documentation, service records, and regulatory compliance logs
    • Collaborate with security, EHS, and engineering teams to ensure operational readiness of mission-critical spaces
    • Monitor budgets for maintenance, supplies, and contractors
    • Respond to emergency repairs and after-hours facility needs as required
