Description Position Overview: The Facilities Supervisor, under the direction of the Facilities Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supporting maintenance activities related to the company’s facilities, equipment, and parts. Key Accountabilities: Prioritize maintenance and repair activities for company grounds, equipment and parts Assist with the maintenance, testing, and repair of facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural, and carpentry work Operate and support material handling equipment, fire protection systems, hazardous waste processes, and sanitation equipment Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations; participate in emergency response as needed Maintain efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates for accuracy and cost-effectiveness Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors and contractors Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate supply levels Ensure all facility vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained in proper working condition Partner with the Safety Department to implement and uphold safety policies and procedures Remain available for on-call support as required Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Material handling equipment, building maintenance, fire systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics Effective interpersonal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Experience with budget management Education/Experience/Training: High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred Minimum three (3) years related experience required Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
