Job Description The on-site Facilities Support Technician plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site by supporting the Facilities team in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. This role involves hands-on support, coordination with contractors, and proactive maintenance of facilities and services. Key Responsibilities and Duties Assist with the daily upkeep and presentation of the site, including general maintenance and minor repairs. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Respond promptly to facilities-related requests from staff and escalate where necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service visits. Liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery. Maintain stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies and place orders as required. Support emergency procedures, including fire drills and first aid equipment checks. Assist with waste management and recycling initiatives across the site. Monitor and report any building or equipment issues to the Facilities Manager. Qualifications Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or site support role. Good understanding of health and safety practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
