BUSINESS AND OPERATIONS SUPPORT DEPARTMENT

The Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) is seeking the services of a skilled and capable individual to work as a Facilities Systems Integration Analyst in our Business and Operations Support Department (BOS). Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Facilities Systems Integration Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimising technology platforms and systems that support Facilities Management (FM) operations. This includes overseeing security systems, asset control tools, space planning technologies and systems integration to improve efficiency, data visibility and operational decision-making. The role ensures seamless coordination between physical infrastructure and digital solutions to enhance safety, compliance and performance.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PROVEN TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS BACKGROUND. THEREFORE, THE POST-HOLDER MUST HAVE:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, facilities management, or a related discipline from a recognised institution
  • A Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with LEED, ISO 27001, ISO 41001 or similar standards would be beneficial
  • A minimum of five (5) + years of experience in managing systems or technology within facilities, corporate real estate, or operations
  • Proficiency with FM technologies such as Computer Aided FM (CAFM), Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) and Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), access control platforms and asset management tools
  • Understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity and compliance requirements related to physical security systems
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, documentation and project coordination skills
  • Analytical and systems-oriented mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple digital platforms and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities
  • Administering electronic access control, CCTV and other physical security systems
  • Monitoring system performance, scheduling maintenance and coordinating upgrades for vendor support
  • Supporting integration of biometric and smart credential-based access systems in compliance with data privacy and security standards
  • Implementing and managing digital asset tracking systems (e.g., Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), barcoding and software platforms)
  • Maintaining accurate records of facility assets, including lifecycle management, maintenance schedules and audit readiness
  • Coordinating with procurement within BOS and Finance and Currency Operations Department to align asset tracking with budgeting and reporting processes
  • Managing space planning software to support workplace optimisation and move management
  • Providing analytical support for occupancy metrics, space utilisation and planning scenarios
  • Collaborating with the FM Team and Human Resources Department to ensure space plans reflect current and future organisational needs
  • Driving integration between FM systems and enterprise IT platforms (e.g., human resources information system (HRIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), environment, health and safety (EHS) tools)
  • Identifying opportunities to automate workflows and improve user experience through data and systems connectivity
  • Providing technical support and training to FM staff on relevant tools and technologies
  • Performing other related work and special projects as assigned by management in accordance with competencies normally associated with this post
