Distribution Center Facilities Technician Schedule: Monday - Friday : 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM Pay Range: $17 - $20 Hourly - Based on experience Who we are SeekWell is the parent company of 1-800 Contacts, Luna, and The Framery. The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, functioning work environment to allow our operations teams to focus on serving our customers. Essential Functions Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, relays, and more Maintain positive working relationships across all the operations facility Track and store department inventory Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation Work Environment Works full time with varying shifts, primary schedule may be between 12:00 and 8:00 PM The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must have ability to reach arms above head, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment Ability to perform tasks wearing a mask, face shield. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work including walking 6 to 12 miles per day Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures Regularly required to type on a computer or stand-up desk and for 1-2 hours per day Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
