Description Part-time: 20 hours per week Position Summary The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and appearance of the company's facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other team members to create a well-maintained working environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Perform a diverse range of maintenance repairs, encompassing minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. Address building-related issues such as unclogging drains, toilets, and sinks. Conduct carpet and upholstery cleaning duties/repairs with precision. Supervise landscape maintenance and oversee related tasks. Maintain and repair existing carpentry work to uphold quality standards. Facilitate the movement/transport of commercial/medical equipment (at times over 200 lbs.). Arranging and verifying completion of repairs when outside scope of maintenance position (i.e. licensed plumbing, electrical, roofing, hvac, gensets, etc.). Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance in accordance with company policies and departmental scheduling requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Hold a valid and active driver’s license without restrictions. Provide proof of automobile liability insurance upon hiring and semi-annually thereafter. Maintain a record of no more than one (1) moving traffic violation within the preceding two years.
