Facilities Technician (HVAC Certified Preferred) Join our team as a Facilities Technician in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, Texas! We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in maintenance and a strong preference for HVAC certification. This full-time, salaried role offers a community-driven work environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our facilities. Responsibilities • Perform general repairs on doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural elements. • Address minor plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs. • Replace light fixtures, bulbs, and fuses; troubleshoot basic electrical problems. • Patch and paint surfaces; maintain clean and presentable areas. • Conduct basic carpentry tasks, including building or repairing shelves, cabinetry, and furniture. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. • Safely operate company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, or materials between locations. Requirements Requirements Required: • High School Diploma or GED. • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Able to pass all state and federal background checks. • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work in physically demanding environments. Preferred: • Associate degree in Facilities Maintenance, Building Maintenance Technology, or related field. • HVAC certification. Additional InformatioInformation Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends. Travel: Occasional local and overnight travel required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.
