Description Department: Facilities Reports to: Facilities Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt Last Modified: 01/22/2026 Job Summary: The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining MCB facilities in a manner that meets bank image standards and proper operating and safety order and for performing custodial duties. Essential Functions: Oversees the maintenance MCB facilities to ensure that the appropriate bank image is projected and that the buildings are in proper and safe operating order. Performs building maintenance and repairs at MCB offices, branches, and other bank owned property on a timely basis, including but not limited to shoveling snow, replacing light fixtures, minor building, plumbing or electrical repairs, painting, lawn and garden maintenance, etc. Assists outside maintenance resources as necessary to complete tasks. Responds to requests for maintenance assistance from the facilities manager or branch managers. Responsible for vendor relationships regarding maintenance issues. Conducts semi-annual assessment and prepares report of equipment and buildings renovations and repairs. Oversees work quality and timely completion of work assigned to vendors. Performs routine custodial duties as required to maintain the bank’s facilities in a clean and safe manner. Skills, Experience, and Training Required: Knowledge of purchasing and cost containment Knowledge or regulations regarding ADA and building security, lighting, access and ergonomics. Knowledge of building safety requirements. High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience with electronics and mechanical equipment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Ability to work well independently. Good customer service and organizational skills. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must travel between branch locations for maintenance and service activities. Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable. Moderate physical activity required, including lifting, carrying, and moving boxes, cartons, packages, and/or equipment weighing up to sixty (60) pounds.
