Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and operations of multiple locations in Palm Beach County. This critical role ensures that all physical infrastructure, systems, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards to support operational excellence.
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be hands-on, taking ownership of repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and the management of third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, meters, and standard maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various environmental conditions (including cold environments).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and a PM schedule effectively.
  • Experience coordinating and supervising third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Basic computer skills; proficiency in Google Suite is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on facility infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance (PM) schedule for all systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve facility and equipment issues using proper tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Manage and coordinate third-party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
  • Oversee building systems and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and vendor services.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
