Description Job Summary: The Facilities Technician supports the shipyard, adjacent areas, internal and external customers, while performing routine maintenance, ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of facilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performing general and detailed maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, patching, hardware repairs, and manual repairs Assisting laggers with organization of insulations materials, measuring cuts, applying insulation Cleaning interior and exterior spaces, including floors, walls, windows, and doors. They may also clean restrooms, break rooms, and offices Moving materials: Using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Interacting with facilities managers, other maintenance staff, customers and crews, and company employees Helps to maintains adequate custodial and breakroom supply stocks Other duties as assigned Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
