Description Naples Yacht Club – Naples, FL About Naples Yacht Club Founded in 1947 and recognized as one of the premier private clubs in the country, Naples Yacht Club is dedicated to excellence in hospitality, service, and facilities. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Facilities Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and daily care of our Clubhouse and grounds. Position Summary The Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and appearance of the Club, ensuring a safe, clean, and beautiful environment for members and guests. This is an entry-level role with training provided and opportunities for growth within facilities and engineering. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections of facilities, grounds, and equipment. Perform basic repairs including light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance. Respond to maintenance requests to support Club operations and member service. Assist with preventative maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment. Coordinate with and support outside vendors and contractors; monitor work performed onsite. Help maintain mechanical areas, tools, storage, and supplies. Support safety and compliance checks, including fire alarm systems, AEDs, and emergency lighting (with vendor support). Ensure public and staff areas remain clean, safe, and guest-ready. Assist with seasonal projects and occasional event support. Requirements Qualifications Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or trade experience preferred but not required — willing to train the right candidate. Strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude. Ability to troubleshoot and learn new skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, in mechanical spaces, and outdoors. Valid driver’s license required.
