Responsibilities

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (4 hours per day), flexibility for evening and weekend work when occasionally needed
About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Facilities Technician to support general maintenance and practical tasks across our site. This hands-on role is essential in helping us maintain a safe, functional, and well-kept working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., doors, fixtures, light fittings).
  • Assemble or dismantle furniture and factory equipment.
  • Basic plumbing, painting, decorating, or carpentry work.
  • Move and rearrange workstations or equipment as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections and respond promptly to maintenance issues.
  • Keep internal and external areas tidy and safe.
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes.
  • Support the facilities team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Report significant repairs or risks to the Site or Facilities Manager.
  • Annual pre-winter season check of grit bins. Top up levels and break up grit as necessary.
