JOB SUMMARY

This individual is responsible for the general maintenance of Partners In Excellence facilities. This position includes duties internal and external and encompasses the metro facilities and equipment that Partners In Excellence maintains. Primary focus of this position is the safety to all staff, clients and visitors to Partners In Excellence. This individual will help management by being the “eyes and ears” and reporting incidents and events to management. This position holds strict standards in confidentiality and must possess strong professional skills.
This position uses cleaning tools and other products to create a healthy working environment. Removes and disposes trash following the appropriate policies. This individual will have generalized maintenance skills and make minor repairs in the facility.

  • WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a clinical therapy environment. Normal business hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm This position may require tasks performed outside of normal business hours. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and fax machines.OTHER DUTIES

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains buildings, facilities, and equipment
  • May maintain outside custodial duties such as snow removal, grass cutting, bush trimming, garbage, signage and lighting as required
  • Operates, maintains, and repairs equipment, tools and vehicles
  • Takes precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss
  • Evaluates inventory on hand
  • Suggests improvements to distribution procedures and acts to improve timeliness or reduce costs
  • Stocks delivered items and checks shelves for appropriate inventory levels
  • Must meet physical demands listed below
  • Complete all other projects/duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • High school level education or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Ability to work independently with time management
  • Must be able to manage concurrent assignments and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Safe working habits
  • Vocational education in mechanical/construction
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Possess good judgment and problem solving skills
