Description Position: Facilities Worker Reports to: Facility Director FLSA: Non-exempt Job Status: Part-time General Responsibilities Perform general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies, cleaning offices and common areas, and emptying trash cans. Perform tasks centered on setting up and tearing down classrooms, meeting rooms, the courtyard, and the worship center. Assist with office moves, relocating items, and retrieving supplies from the warehouse. Assists in maintaining orderliness and appearance of campus and office premises, including classrooms, meeting rooms, storage facilities, and exterior grounds. Assists in offices and campus security – verifying all outside entrances are secure and locked as directed by the supervisor. Perform other related duties as assigned. Primary Strengths Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the campus and offices clean and orderly. Ability to interact with staff, students, and congregation with a professional, polite, and courteous attitude. Team player with a servant heart. Able to be flexible and work in a dynamic, changing environment. Maintain open and frequent communication with your supervisor, other staff, and volunteer team leaders and members. Requirements Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
