Description Position: Facilities Worker Reports to: Facility Director Campus: Santa Rosa Campus FLSA: Non-exempt Job Status: Part-time, hourly General Responsibilities Perform general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies, cleaning offices and common areas, and emptying trash cans. Perform tasks centered on the set-up and teardown rooms, worship center, and outdoor event areas. Assist with office moves, moving items, and supply retrieval from the warehouse and/or storage areas. Assist in maintaining orderliness and appearance of campus and office premises, including classrooms, meeting rooms, storage areas, and exterior grounds. Assists in offices and campus security – verifying all outside entrances are secure and locked as directed by the supervisor. Perform other related duties as assigned. Mission Critical Responsibilities Proactively communicate, support, and fulfill the mission, vision, core values, purposes, and goals of Bayside Church. Maintain open and frequent communication with your supervisor, other staff, and volunteer team leaders and members. Requirements Primary Strengths/Gifts/Talents Required Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the campus and offices clean and orderly. Ability to interact with staff, students, and congregation with a professional, polite, and courteous attitude. Team player with a servant heart. Able to be flexible and work in a dynamic, changing environment. Qualifications Required Education/Training - This is an entry-level position - all that is needed is a desire to work! Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Time Commitment Part-time, non-exempt, at-will position, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
