Overview The Hangar Sport and Events Centre, located in Toronto, ON, is currently seeking part time employees to fill the role of facility attendant. This Facility Attendant will assist in the opening or closing of the facility, including scheduling and programming in the venue. They will also be involved in the success of events held at the venue during the event season. This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00-$21.00 CAD Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching This position will remain open until April 10, 2026. Responsibilities Maintain the schedule of programs and leagues by performing effective program transitions. Set up & take down of equipment for rentals, leagues, and special events. Liaise with clients, addressing queries, concerns or complaints. Monitor the safety of all activities and programs and respond to any safety concerns. Clean washrooms and changeroom facilities nightly. Clean around the fields nightly, as well as emptying garbage bins. Oversee general maintenance and repairs of the facility. Maintain a strong customer-focused approached when responding to general inquiries and resolving any conflicts. Provide support for special events, such as traffic management and parking management. Liaise with bookings and other appropriate departments to ensure the smooth delivery of rentals. Qualifications Previous experience in an operations or events capacity preferred. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to prepare routine administrative paper work. Ability to routinely lift heavy equipment (30 lbs). Positive attitude and an understanding of the physical nature of the position. Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
