FACILITY COORDINATOR – FULL-TIME POSITION – RALEIGH (SUPPORTS MULTIPLE LOCATIONS)

Raleigh Orthopaedic is seeking a Facility Coordinator to support the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our buildings, offices, and equipment. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this role ensures our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for patients and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical school degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in facility coordination, building maintenance, or related field
  • Knowledge of building systems and multiple trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple facilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office, email, and related communication tools
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, or after-hours for emergencies

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee facility maintenance, repair, and safety activities
  • Respond promptly to building and equipment emergencies
  • Assist with planning and scheduling repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance procedures
  • Perform hands-on tasks such as minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, caulking, and electrical repairs
  • Support installation and alignment of equipment, sensors, plugs, and switches
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or projects
  • Assemble, move, and repair office furniture as needed
  • Maintain adequate inventory of tools and supplies for facility upkeep
  • Monitor and maintain building lighting systems, including bulb and ballast replacements
  • Schedule and track inspections for HVAC, elevators, plumbing, and fire control systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company policies
