JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office and Warehouse Cleaner. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment across both office and warehouse spaces, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are consistently met. Additional responsibilities include managing laundry tasks, such as cleaning and organizing linens, uniforms, and other washable items.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous cleaning experience, especially in office or warehouse settings, preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment, including Walk-Behind Floor Scrubbers, is an asset.
  • Experience handling laundry and operating commercial or standard washers/dryers is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Knowledge of basic safety procedures and cleaning techniques is preferred.
  • Friendly and approachable personality.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred).
  • Laundry handling: 1 year (preferred).
  • Familiarity with floor scrubbers or similar equipment (preferred).
Responsibilities

CLEANING DUTIES:

  • Clean and maintain office areas, including desks, meeting rooms, and shared spaces (dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping).
  • Sanitize and restock office and warehouse washrooms, including cleaning sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks in the warehouse, such as clearing debris and keeping floors tidy and safe.
  • Operate Walk-Behind Floor Scrubbers to clean and sanitize large floor areas efficiently and safely.
  • Clean and organize outdoor spaces, including entryways and patio furniture.
  • Collect and properly dispose of waste and recyclables from office and warehouse areas.
  • Restock and organize cleaning supplies on carts and storage shelves.

LAUNDRY DUTIES:

  • Collect, wash, dry, and fold linens, uniforms, and other washable items used in office and warehouse operations.
  • Sort laundry items according to type, color, and care instructions.
  • Operate and maintain washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
  • Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and address stains or damage as needed.
  • Organize and distribute cleaned laundry to designated areas.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Perform other cleaning- and laundry-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Interaction with customers and staff.
