Logistics at full potential Are you a hands-on person who enjoys cleaning and fixing facilities in a frozen warehouse? Keep reading! We are seeking a Facility Employee to join our team in Hoogeveen, supporting our facility & technician team. This hands-on role involves maintaining and troubleshooting various buildingrelated issues to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and surrounding premises. As a key player in our facility & technician team, you will report to the Technical Supervisor and work closely with the operation to address maintenance tasks and contribute to the overall upkeep of the warehouse and external areas. What do you do on a typical day? You will perform building-related facilities, such as fixing doors, windows, and other general facility issues. You will cleaning outdoor areas. You will organize the maintenance of changing rooms and lockers, including distribution of work clothes. You take care of the disposal of waste and prevention of bacteria. You will visit areas of the warehouse where issues are reported. You will communicate directly with the Technical Supervisor to understand work orders and issues around the warehouse/building. You will work alongside with one facility employee and four other technicians who support multiple buildings, contributing to a collaborative team environment. You will be flexible in hours, but we are going to start with only day shift. This can change in the future or will be changed when needed. What you need to succeed at GXO Proven experience as a handyman or facility technician with a strong background in hands-on repair, cleaning and maintenance. You must be able to work independently, but also be a team player with strong communication skills to work with your colleagues and report on tasks. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of cleaning and building-related issues. Basic knowledge of working with facility ticketing systems or other related software. Ability to work flexible hours, including potentially switching between shifts. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks. English or Dutch is a must. What we offer A competitive salary (CLA).
