Position Overview A technical leadership role responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of facility management operations, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and innovation across building systems and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and technical direction for facility engineering operations, maintenance programs, and building systems performance Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize building performance and extend asset lifecycles Oversee critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems Direct capital improvement projects related to technical infrastructure and building systems upgrades Establish technical performance metrics and KPIs to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness Lead sustainability initiatives related to energy management, resource conservation, and carbon footprint reduction Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for technical maintenance and specialized services Collaborate with facility management teams to integrate technical operations with broader facility management objectives Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for technical facility operations Lead and develop technical staff, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred 4+ years of progressive experience in facilities management with significant technical operations oversight Strong understanding of building systems, infrastructure, and technical operations in commercial environments Experience with building automation systems and smart building technologies Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing technical teams Proven project management skills, including capital project oversight Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Professional engineering license or relevant industry certifications (PE, CEM, FMP, CFM, LEED AP) Experience with energy management programs and sustainability initiatives Knowledge of digital facility management platforms and building information modeling (BIM) Experience with commissioning and retro-commissioning processes Success Factors Strategic vision for technical operations excellence and innovation Ability to translate technical requirements into business value Proven track record of implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures Strong leadership presence and ability to influence across organizational levels Forward-thinking approach to building systems integration and smart building technologies Location: On-site –Gurugram, HR Scheduled Weekly Hours: 48 If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
