Job title: Facility & IT Support Engineer

Salary: Up to £44,000 depending on skills and experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

• Experience within IT Infrastructure
• Previous experience working with Access control systems, Telephone and AV systems

Desirable:

• Degree qualified in a STEM subject or qualified by experience
• Root cause analysis experience
• Maintenance experience in both Planned and reactive
• Experience with FM activities and principles

Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

• Management of IT Infrastructure, Telephone network & Automated Access Control System
• Support building and HVAC equipment maintenance with the Engineering Manager & Operations Manager
• Assist Operations Manager with FM contracted services (hard and soft services) IAW current legislation & regulations
• Participate in the Opening and Closing rota for the MISC Building
• Manage and assist with the facilities within meeting and conference rooms (including daily checks)
• Assist with arrangements for VIP guests and visitors
• Undertake the duties of a Fire warden
