JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for overseeing various maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing support to both staff and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, logic controllers, and schematic interpretation.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, plumbing, painting, grounds maintenance and routine preventative maintenance.
  • Follow direction of the maintenance manager and coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules for all facilities.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols within the facility.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support facility needs and improvements.
