OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility. This position requires a strong background in industrial maintenance and facilities management, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Director will lead a team of skilled technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and implement best practices to enhance operational performance.

SKILLS

  • Strong management skills with a proven track record in supervising teams effectively.
  • Proficient in using technology for efficient maintenance operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical drawings.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting equipment issues.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades and new installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics, electrical systems, high voltage, low voltage, and mechanical knowledge.
  • Train staff on the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other technical equipment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
