About Us
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Facility Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance while leading our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical disciplines and extensive experience in facility management and supervision. Proficiency in English and Mandarin, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential for liaising with contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Supervise contractors, including negotiating pricing, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, budget expenditures, and project progress.
  • Serve as the primary contact for local authorities, obtaining permits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
  • Lead and mentor the facility maintenance staff, providing guidance and training.

What You’ll Need

Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline or certification in facility management.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facility management, with supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to write reports, plan schedules, negotiate prices, and supervise contractors.
  • Familiarity with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Class 2 or 3 driving licence required for travel to various facilities.
