Description Summary of Position: The Facility Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the building equipment and other areas as required. The role will be responsible for coordinating timely resolution for electrical services, air compressors, fire alarm and security, pump room, hazardous waste disposal, fork truck and scissor lift inspections, and other duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and repair equipment and facilities Coordinate electrical services and repair for existing equipment, facility, and new equipment projects Fosters a culture of safety and maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance and required equipment inspections Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (3-axis / 5-axis) Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of equipment Oversee the ordering and stocking levels of supplies that support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Coordinates and oversees hazardous waste removal and disposal Train and educate CNC operators on preventative maintenance to reduce machine downtime Monitor maintenance costs and take steps to ensure efficiency and cost-effective solutions Respond to emergency calls and take appropriate action Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with all departments. All other duties as assigned. The employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
