JOB DESCRIPTION
AZZ Galvanizing Canada Limited is seeking a full-time Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Acton location. The position offers a competitive employment package and compensation commensurate with experience in a friendly and collaborative work environment.
QUALIFICATION:
- Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, lubrication equipment, electrical meters and testers.
- Familiar with LOTO system.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Motivated and self-directed.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual.

Pay: From $28.17 per hour

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the duties and responsibilities of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform servicing, inspections, testing and repairs to productive equipment in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance .
- Program. Correct deficiencies found on the equipment during the execution of the PM inspections, which require experience and knowledge on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect building facilities according with the Facilities Preventive Maintenance program and report deficiencies found using the reporting methods in place. ·
- Keeps and reports on the inventory levels of spares, consumables, and materials required to perform the PM activities. ·
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping as required to maintain productive equipment in good condition. ·
- Collaborate during emergency repairs on productive equipment as required. ·
- Participate in workplace safety and ensure compliance with all Health and Safety standards in accordance with current legislation and Active Exhaust’s Health and Safety Policy and Best Practices; ·
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
