Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites. Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools. Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects. Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner. Landscaping, Snow Plowing, etc. Keep track of company truck and gas card. Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University. Facility Maintenance Technician Minimum Qualifications: Experience in any of the following areas: electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping Valid driver’s license D.O.T Medical certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul) Work Environment: The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted. Responsibilities

The Facility Maintenance Technician will inspect, maintain, and build new buildings while performing general maintenance, installation, repair, and service. They will also complete work requests in a timely manner and participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
