Perform preventive maintenance as directed. 3. Assemble and/or repair racks.  Assemble office furniture and cubicles.   4. Operate snowplows, forklifts and lifts, as directed. 5. Maintain production standards. Report any production, quality or safety problems to the supervisor immediately.   6. Comply with company rules and regulations. 7. Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data. 8. Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department. 9. Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives. 10. Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE   *     Trade school plus 1-2 years’ experience in general maintenance service and repairs or equivalent. *      Valid driver’s license   COMPETENCIES   *      Ability to use hand and power tools, such as: Standard and metric wrenches and sockets Screwdrivers Electric meter Saws Drills Electric sander/grinder             Welders *     Ability to operate snowplows *     Ability to operate forklifts and lifts *     Ability to operate company vehicles *     General carpentry/handyman *     Light plumbing *     Light electrical 
Responsibilities
The role is responsible for performing general maintenance services and repairs across the plant in areas such as plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, and electrical work as directed by supervision.
