The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is seeking to fill (2) Facility Manager positions to manage the day-to-day operations of the community center and outdoor park amenities, cultivate community relationships, lead staff and support a variety of activities, events, and programming, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are being applied. The Facility Manager will manage a team that may include Assistant Facility Manager(s), a Customer Service Representative and a host of temporary staff to assist in managing the day-to-day operations. The manager schedules the staff assigned to one of two centers: the Lubber Run Community Center or Thomas Jefferson Community Center. The Department of Parks and Recreation promotes wellness and vitality through dynamic programs and attractive public spaces. Our facilities range from parks, sports fields, nature and community centers to playgrounds, and a skate park. We are stewards to the County's natural resources and provide affordable recreational programs and services for people of all ages, abilities, and interests.
