LOCATION

Aegis Hilton Park has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 136 residents in five wings.
Hilton is a suburb surrounded by water from nearby lakes, rivers and the sea. We have used this water connection to name each of the areas, or wings, after local and southwest rivers. From north to south there are Swan, Canning, Serpentine, Murray and Blackwood. Aegis Hilton Park is an ‘ageing in place’ facility and both high and low care accommodation is available in all areas. Blackwood offers specialist dementia care.
Accommodation comprises both single and double rooms with a large en suite bathroom and air conditioning. The different areas, or wings, all have lounge and dining areas as well as access to extensive gardens and patio areas.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Nurse Div. 1 with current AHPRA registration.
• Extensive management/leadership experience in Residential Aged Care, with the ability to influence others to deliver high quality care and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, quality management systems and AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Sound business and financial acumen including knowledge of rosters, budgets and finances.
• Full Australian working rights and current national police clearance.

Aegis has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Residential Aged Care Facility Manager, to provide strong leadership at our Aegis Hilton Park Facility located in Hilton. As part of the Aegis executive team, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations and overall management of all aspects of the Facility, while being empowered to manage and influence your own business unit with support from other professional teams.

Reporting to the Executive Manager Operations and Marketing, you will:

• Drive quality in the delivery of all services including care, therapy, hospitality & customer service to ensure excellence is maintained in line with Aegis’ vision, mission, and values.
• Provide leadership and expertise.to all areas of operation.
• Provide high quality support to residents and their families.
• Oversee all aspects of care service and food services delivery are compliant with Aged Care Quality Standards, Aegis policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
• Manage all material, human and financial resources to ensure their efficient and effective use, including developing and implementing annual business plans and budgets with ongoing management to ensure all targets are achieved.
• Act as a role model to staff, promoting Aegis’ values in everything you do.
• Lead, coach and direct all human resources functions to ensure the delivery of all services in terms of Aegis expectations and values.
