The City of East Peoria is seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all City-owned facilities. This critical leadership role ensures our buildings are safe, efficient, well-maintained, and mission-ready at all times.
You will supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets, implement preventative maintenance programs, and serve as the primary contact for contracts and RFPs related to facilities and services. You’ll also work closely with the Mayor’s Office, City Commissioners, and the Director of Planning & Community Development on a variety of operational priorities.
Qualified candidates will have proven knowledge of facility maintenance operations, program development and implementation. Qualified candidates should have the ability to interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings as well as understand utility systems and IT infrastructure within buildings. A high school diploma or GED is required; post-secondary education is preferred. To view more details, please review the attached job description. Must reside within twenty-five (25) miles of the City and pass a physical examination and drug screen. Pay range is $60,000-87,700/year, depending on qualifications and experience (DOQE).
