Alliance Française Dublin was founded in 1960 and is located in the city center of Dublin. It is a registered Charity governed by a board of directors with sub-committees. Its tagline is “The destination for a truly French experience”.
Alliance Francaise Dublin is ranked number 3 in Europe in terms of number of students. It is also one of the most dynamic Alliance Française in terms of cultural events.
AFD is a language school, an exams centre, a training centre for teachers, a cultural and intercultural institution with a library, a community of francophones and Francophiles in Ireland. More than 50 people work in Alliance Francaise Dublin from Monday to Saturday.
In 2023 the Alliance had:
· an annual turnover of € 1,500,000
· 5600 enrolments, 3550 students, 1400 members and 30,000 followers on social media.
· an attendance of over 10,000 people for our cultural and social events
