Job Description
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? The Facility Operations Program Coordinator – Rockne Memorial is at the center of creating outstanding experiences for students and community members at one of Notre Dame’s most iconic recreational facilities. Working alongside the Assistant Director of Aquatics & Facility Operations – Rockne Memorial, you’ll play a key role in keeping programs and facilities running smoothly while building a strong, motivated team.
As the coordinator, you’ll take the lead in recruiting, training, and mentoring a talented student staff of Recreation Attendants and Operations Supervisors. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the Smith Center and Joyce Center – North Dome to ensure operations are seamless across all RecSports venues. From overseeing daily facility logistics to shaping a positive and inclusive environment for participants, your work will directly contribute to the energy and spirit of campus life.
This role is a great fit for someone who loves bringing people together, takes pride in developing student leaders, and enjoys the challenge of keeping busy facilities safe, welcoming, and fun. It’s more than just operations—it’s about building community, supporting wellness, and helping students thrive.
This position is a full-time, in-person, 12-month role, with various evening and weekend responsibilities throughout the academic year, as well as some limited evening and weekend responsibilities throughout the summer.
