The Facility Operations Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our Dealerships and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors. This role performs routine maintenance tasks, responds to repair requests, and supports preventive maintenance programs. Key Responsibilities: Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, crack filling and seal coating parking lots. Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests. Maintain clean and orderly work areas and common spaces. Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Requirements Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in facility operations/building maintenance or a similar role. Construction Laborer experience highly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction and HVAC systems. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely. Basic computer skills for work order tracking and reporting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to lift or carry over 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various conditions. Strong communication skills and ability to listen and take direction. Self Starter Work Environment: Will require travel (possibly overnight) to our locations in WI, IL and IA. Use of a company vehicle – requires a valid DL. 8-hour shifts. Ability to work overtime if required. May require on-call availability for emergencies. 60 day probationary period.
