Where Cloud lives and AI thrives Job Description A key member of the Facility Management team who supports and guides Capital Works and Customer Success projects. Acts as the main liaison between project delivery teams and Facility Management to ensure smooth project handovers without disrupting operations. Responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and handing over projects with operational approvals in place. Provides support for ongoing and upcoming facility projects across Malaysia. What you’ll do: Collaborate proactively with Facility Management, Capital Works, Customer Success teams, contractors, and subcontractors to define coordination requirements and timelines. Facilitate communication between operations and project delivery teams as the main interface. Review and respond promptly to RFIs and contractor correspondence to avoid program delays. Manage smooth handover of new capacity and equipment, ensuring documentation, training, commissioning, and defect closure are completed. Ensure project teams comply with Facility Management processes (e.g., permits, safety plans, approvals, contractor access). Review contractor documentation and present it for Change Advisory Board approvals. Coordinate contractor access, isolation, pre-start meetings, and maintain worksite cleanliness per company standards. Conduct site inductions for contractors on facility rules and safety protocols. Ensure contractors follow agreed plans to prevent operational disruptions or risks. Support testing and commissioning as a Facility SME, managing operational risks. Lead facility involvement in customer fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with facility standards. Participate in on-call roster to support facility emergencies outside regular hours. About you: Advanced understanding of data centre operations, including electrical and mechanical systems, rack management, design, and installation. Knowledge of critical infrastructure components such as electrical distribution, cooling, and fire systems. Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex). Experience with building management and monitoring systems. Strong planning, organizational, and analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Malay and English, with effective interpersonal skills. Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate, diploma, degree, or related background preferred. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in data centre facilities or a related facility role. Strong business acumen with proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Experience in collaborative, team-based decision-making and cross-team coordination.
