Requirements Primary Duties · Maintains Jaxon’s Top Secret Facility Clearance & personnel security clearances in NBIS with reinvestigations initiated in a timely manner; performs all necessary follow-up procedures. This effort includes but is not limited to updates to NISS System to include all DD254s. Review any new DD 254s for facility impact. · Initiate new clearances after proof of citizenship; review and submit through NBIS. Schedule fingerprinting and upload completed prints through SWFT. · Ensure facility complies with DCSA, 32 CFR, Part 117, NISPOM, and meets with the IS Representative during Facility Assessments, conduct and arrange annual training programs. · Develop/update ITPS security plan; ensure annual personnel training; and maintain IT training certificates. Manage CAC cards, including initial applications and reverifications. · Compile and submit yearly security reports to management. Maintain accurate records of security activities, such as visitor logs, end of day security checks, employee identification, and incident reports. · Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop plans to mitigate potential threats or vulnerabilities. Conduct audits of security systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Conduct yearly security self-inspection and self-certify in NISS. · Maintain document control records for all incoming and outgoing classified documents. Ensure outgoing documents are properly marked, packaged and sent to customers IAW DCSA, 32 CFR, Part 117, NISPOM. · Use DISS to create classified visit requests, monitor incoming visit requests. Process visit requests to include, submitting multiple types of spreadsheets for EALs, media and equipment letters with various site POCs. Use specific special forms for some international visit requests. Process visits to some countries through the APACS system. Follow-up to ensure receipt and approval. · Maintain foreign travel records and foreign visitor logs and vetting any foreign visitors through DCSA CI Agents before arrival. · Control access to the facility, ensure that only authorized personnel enter the premises by enforcing access control procedures. Prepare cleared incoming visitor list for classified meetings. · Investigation of Incidents, investigate security-related incidents and collaborate with other departments or law enforcement as needed. Incident Reporting: Provide timely and accurate incident reports on individuals in DISS and ensure timely follow-up until resolved. Education Preferred: · Bachelor’s degree or related experience Required Experience: · 4 or more years’ experience as Facility Security Officer · 1 or more years’ Internal Threat Protection Security Officer (ITPSO) experience · FSO Training completed · Demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels with professionalism, patience, and clear communication. · Experience conducting security briefings, trainings, and one-on-one guidance with employees navigating clearance or investigation steps.
